Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data PlumeLark ("we", "us") collects, why, and your choices. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your name and email when you sign up (or the profile your provider shares if you use Google/Etsy sign-in).
- Shop data: when you connect Etsy or paste a listing, we process your product titles, descriptions, prices and images to generate pins.
- Usage data: basic logs and product analytics to operate and improve the Service.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
2. How we use your data
- to provide the Service — generate pins, SEO copy, schedule and publish to Pinterest;
- to manage your account, billing and support;
- to send service and, if you opt in, product emails (you can unsubscribe anytime);
- to maintain security and improve the product.
3. Service providers (subprocessors)
We share data only as needed with trusted providers, including:
- Stripe — payments & billing;
- OpenAI — AI generation of pin copy and designs;
- Etsy and Pinterest — to import listings and publish pins on your behalf;
- Google — optional sign-in;
- our email and hosting providers.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Cookies & local storage
We use only essential storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (such as theme, language and currency). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
5. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can delete your account, after which we remove or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email [email protected].
7. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
